Trick to browse fast on folder

Hi! There you may have noticed that in XP Sp2 and sp1 folder browsing speed is extremely low especially after few minutes of startup ..here is solution

1. Open My Computer
2. Click on Tools menu
3. Click on Folder Options
4. Click on the View tab.
5. Uncheck the Automatically search for network folders and printers check box
6. Click Apply
7. Click Ok
8. Reboot your computer

Today tip will help you to create your own keyboard shortcuts keys in MS Word. Before reading this tip, may be you are using only the default shortcuts keys which are available in MS Word application. You can select any specific key combination that you want to use to perform a particular task.

If you are not an expert user then you can take many clicks and lot of menus navigations to perform a basic task. With shortcut keys, you can speed up your working pace without lifting your hands on the keys; otherwise require a conventional mouse to select menus and buttons options. You can create your own keyboard shortcuts for every word command. For example, if you are using Word Count feature constantly then you can assign any key combination like Alt+Z to run Word Count command.

First click on Start button, go to Program then click on Microsoft Word to run the word page.

Now go to Tools menu and click on Customize option.

Here a small dialog box will appear with title Customize, now click on "Keyboard..." button.

Now again a small dialog box with title Customize Keyboard, the list of all the categories of commands with appear on the left side of the dialog box. You should click on the category that contains the command which you want to assign a shortcut keyboard.

Choose the command you want to assign a keyboard combination on the right side of the customize keyboard dialog box and then click the key you want to create shortcut.

Now click on Assign button to final the shortcuts key combination then close it.

In future whenever you type the keyboard combination, word will work according to that command you have assigned this shortcut.

Internet Explorer Tricks

There are 4 tweaks for IE7 so that the loading of site is faster. Doing
these tricks will not hamper your security or setting changes. These
tricks are done only on the unnecessary overheads on the IE7.

1) Turn off Phishing Filter : This feature is only protective to you to
access the junk or malefic sites, it has been found that this feature
slows down the loading of webpage. I think one can surf without this
extra costly protection. It can be disabled here in IE7:
Tools > Phishing Filter > Turn off automatic website checking, there
turn it off.

2) Disble automatically checking for RSS feeds. Most users are not
availing this facility provided in IE7, so it's better to turn it off.
How to do it:
Tools > Internet Options > Content > Feeds > Settings > uncheck all the
boxes shown there.

3) Remove "ClearType" useage in IE7, it will slow IE7 performance.
Disable the Cleartype in IE7:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > find the option "ClearType for
HTML*" > uncheck that.

4) Disable the "SSVHelper Class plugin": This plugin causes browsing
delays, do it here
Tools > Manage Add-ons > Enable or Disable Add-ons > Select "SSVHelper
Class", click the Disable button, and then click OK.

Show hidden Icon Fixer

Show Hidden Files and Folders not working?..... If we selecte the radio button “Show hidden files and folders” and then press Ok.. the changes would just disappear upon opening the dialog again. It was probably some virus attack after which the Windows registry was not being updated properly. So here is what methods to restore it back. There are so many methods to restore back the registry. If one method is not working, please try another one.

Method 1:

Go to registry editor by running regedit in the run box.
Go to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\
Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

In the right hand area, double click hidden and change the value to 1.

Now you’re all set to go. Check it in your tools menu if the changes have taken effect.

Method 2:

1. Click “Start” -> “Run…” (or press Windows key + R)
2. Type “regedit” and click “Ok”.
3. Find the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\
Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL
4. Look at the “CheckedValue” key… This should be a DWORD key. If it isn’t, delete the key.
5. Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD (hexadecimal) with a value of 1.
6. The “Show hidden files & folders” check box should now work normally. Enjoy!

Method 3:

1- Click Start –> Run –> regsvr32 /i browseui.dll –> enter

A confirmation message will appear like given below

2- Click Start –> Run –> regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

Wait for the confirmation and click OK.

Just one more year to go. Understandably, there's so much to do for young Mr Potter and his pals, now in their sixth year at Hogwarts. Before

they enter their final year, they have to find ways to wind up their save-the-world mission by wiping out the Dark Lord and his devious ambition. Because, when the seventh year begins, it would be just do or die, with no time for deliberations, explorations, inventions.

Hence, there is an overriding sense of urgency in the penultimate film, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince which moves at breakneck speed from the opening sequence itself. The spooky death-eaters rise from the hell beneath and surround the dimly-lit world, as Hogwarts prepares to open for a new term. Surprisingly, Harry doesn't seem to be in a tearing hurry this time and prefers to spend some quality time in a coffee shop, getting harmlessly flirty with a saucy waitress while he reads a newspaper that anoints him as the Chosen One. But hey, Harry's got no time for birds and bees, does he? So enter Professor Dumbledore (Michael Gammbon) and his homily on how the clock's ticking, hopes dimming and Voldermort's grinning, as he gets closer to victory.

The film literally flies off onto another plane after this brief tryst with levity. It's a darker, brooding landscape that awaits Harry and his friends at Hogwarts as the times get more dangerous and desperate. Harry must befriend the new professor of potions, Horace Slughorn (Jim Boraodbent) and find out the secrets of his star ex-student, Tom Riddle who grew up to be Lord Voldermort, the wizard-gone-astray. Also, he must decipher the new book he has found: a diary of the Half-Blood Prince. Will Professor Slughorn lend Harry the bit of memory he has deliberately expunged and help him find the missing link in the Pensieve (remember Dumbledore's magical memory bowl)? Now this is imperative, for Harry must learn about the Horcruxes -- the objects where Voldermort has hidden his soul after splitting it -- in order to end the Dark Lord's gift of immortality.

It's a treachorous journey which our young hero must embark, almost alone with old ally Dumbledore leading him through the sundry death-defying twists and turns in and around Hogwarts. It's a journey which gets even more agonising, since his friends have other adolescent distractions that keep them busy this time. While Ron is busy fighting off love potions and falling for the campus hottie, Lavender Brown, Hermione is pining away with an unreciprocated ardour for Ron. Harry too is coming to terms with the adrenalin rush that hits him whenever he sees Ginny Weasely (Bonnie Wright), but knows he can't give in to love and its mundane demands, when the world awaits deliverance, and the evil forces -- Bellatrix, Malfoy, Snape (still bad) and voldermort -- are gaining ground.

The film scores heavily in terms of its scintillating cinematography (Bruno Delbonnel), its edgy atmospherics and its straight-from-the-book histrionics. The actors truly live-out the characters, so meticulously created by JK Rowling. Of course, you do miss the menacing presence of Voldermort, who appears as a mere silhouette. But the roll call of evil is otherwise complete with pallid Draco Malfoy, mean and maddish Bellatrix (Helena Bonham Carter) and Parcel-tongued Snape (Alan Rickman) creating adequate havoc and providing a perfect build-up to the climactic Deathly Hallows. But the high point of the film are it's fresh and juicy moments of adolescent madness, where our young wizards try to cope with the turbulence of normal teenage years. Almost poignant!

Keep the series up to date. Don't give this a miss, all you teens and adult-teens.
